Everyone knows the tale of the backrooms.. Dive into the backrooms yourself in this Indie horror exploration game where every move you make could mean life or death.
"Welcome to the backrooms" is an infinite maze of rooms that you have to traverse while also being aware of your health (in depth heartrate monitoring, stamina, hunger, thirst, and sanity), entities, anomalies, (WIP) and other reality bending insanity that the backrooms decides to throw at you. Enter level 0 and become one with the backrooms as you explore every piece of the story engraved on the WikiDot. We have plans to implement the main 9 levels plus even more...? Including the entities that come with them!

Played it before a bunch of updates, so I might play again.
(1st game I play)
This was one of the best looking backroom indie games I have played! The only issue was the clipping, I kept falling through the floor. I never got to the second level. If that bug can be fixed, this would be amazing! I loved the music and the graphics, hope you didn't mind that I made a vid off this! This game looked and felt great, just that bug really threw it off, please fix!!
I'm currently working on the early access release for the game, all the bugs mentioned will be fixed once the game is on steam, plus there will be a save game system and some more levels / entities. thanks for playing!

there's a bug happening for me when I pass through the door at the beginning to no-clip it shortly shows the Backrooms and then I seem to fall "through" the Backrooms and the screen remains grey. I can guide the character, but there's no environment.

Found some bugs (PRE RELEASE ALPHA v0.2.1):
1. If you keep holding Shift your BPM will raise even if you are walking normaly
2. I can see world sky if I look furhter in the fog
3. Mini freezes on level 0 when generating a new chunk
4. If you hold crouch, then press jump, camera will move up like jumping, when collision shape will remain in a crouch form
5. Boxes do loud sound when near each other
6. If you continue doing step 1. your BPM will reach 140, then you won't be able to walk, but you'll be able to walk with 140 BPM in crouch state
7. If you stay close to a ceiling and jump, you will stuck in the air until jump timer time out

The movement of the player is a bit buggy but otherwise this game is awesome! I hope it is still in development at all :D
It is still in development, just going very slow due to life, don't have a ton of time to work on it, but It will be released one day :)

This game is awesome the way it is but with all the plans coming up this will really be the most detailed and realistic way to describe the backrooms in game format I'm really looking forward to the full release whenever that does happen because I know this game will be badass.
This has got to be the best Backrooms version out there. Love the textures and the soundscape. You can hear the audio clipping from the music a little bit though, but otherwise it's really immersive. Can't wait to see how this game progresses.
